'The Moon' Confirmed for Release in North America, Singapore, and Thailand
The movie "The Moon," starring actors Seol Kyung-gu and Do Kyung-soo (D.O.), has confirmed its release dates in North America, Singapore, Thailand, and other overseas markets.
On the 24th, CJ ENM announced that "The Moon" (directed by Kim Yong-hwa) will be released on August 9 in Singapore and the Philippines, August 10 in Malaysia, August 17 in Australia and New Zealand, August 18 in the United States, Canada, and Taiwan, and August 26 in Thailand.
The overseas distribution representative stated, "Since this film showcases high-level technical achievements, we are very excited to present it in theaters overseas around the same time as in Korea."

Opening on the 2nd of next month, "The Moon" depicts the desperate struggle of astronaut Sun-woo, who is stranded alone on the moon due to an accident, and Jae-guk, the former space center director who fights desperately to save him. The film is directed by Kim Yong-hwa, who also directed the blockbuster "Along with the Gods" series.
