In the past, Jukdo was an inhabited island where the Samchi Pasi, a fish market held on the sea, was held. Recently, due to the lack of docking facilities and living water, the number of permanent residents has gradually decreased, and currently only 14 people live there.
The project will start next month by first renovating the most needed water supply facilities for island residents to solve the shortage of living water. The docking and breakwater facilities will begin detailed design services and plan to proceed with the project annually.
Year by year, safety and convenience facilities will be built next year, docking facilities in 2025, and breakwater facilities in 2026 to provide stable living conditions on the island.
