Gyeonggi Future Education Yangpyeong Campus Outdoor Swimming Pool Opens to Residents on the 21st
The outdoor swimming pool at Gyeonggi Future Education Yangpyeong Campus was opened to residents on the 21st.
Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Lifelong Education Promotion Institute announced that the outdoor swimming pool at Gyeonggi Future Education Yangpyeong Campus will be open to residents from the 21st of this month until the 25th of next month.
The outdoor swimming pool at Yangpyeong Campus has undergone internal maintenance such as tile replacement and the hiring of water safety personnel to serve as a water play area for families to enjoy together.
The swimming pool usage fee has been lowered below the average price of public swimming pools in the province through this year's ordinance revision. The all-day fee is 2,000 won for elementary school students and younger, and 3,500 won for others.
The outdoor swimming pool is open except on Mondays and legal holidays. Opening hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Gyeonggi Lifelong Education Promotion Institute has prepared auxiliary facilities such as a concession stand at the swimming pool so families can enjoy their time all day long. In addition, water safety personnel have been hired to prevent water play accidents.
Jo Tae-hoon, Director of Lifelong Education at Gyeonggi Province, said, "Through the opening of the Future Education Yangpyeong Campus swimming pool, we hope many residents will enjoy their summer happily with family and friends and create lasting memories."
