The Premium Brand Index is a brand value evaluation model jointly developed by the Korea Standards Association and the Seoul National University Business Research Institute to enhance the competitiveness of domestic companies. Every year, it selects brands with true premium value through a large-scale domestic consumer survey of more than 100,000 people.
Chorokmaeul ranked first in the food specialty store category for four consecutive years in this survey. Based on its efforts to lead the growth of the eco-friendly food market and focus on improving customer-centered convenience, it has been selected as the top premium brand 13 times out of 16 evaluations conducted since 2008.
Chorokmaeul is leading the spread of eco-friendly consumption culture and striving to enhance future value. It has operated the most Ministry of Environment-designated green stores in the distribution industry for seven consecutive years, and in 2018, it received the Presidential Citation in recognition of its contributions to eco-friendly technology and consumption promotion. Starting with the opening of the Mapo branch in 2002, it currently has about 380 neighborhood-type offline stores, the largest number among eco-friendly organic specialty brands.

Recently, to respond to rapidly changing customer demands, it has been focusing on enhancing integrated online and offline customer experiences by combining solid offline infrastructure with IT technology. In February, it introduced a data-based predictive ordering system, reducing the online order lead time from three days, which included customer order to delivery, to a maximum of one day, and started dawn delivery in the metropolitan area and the Daejeon, Sejong, and Cheonan regions. This month, it revamped the company mall application (app) and website for customer convenience and completed the advancement of same-day delivery linked to company mall orders through neighborhood-type stores nationwide.
