Suwon City Expands Village Lawyer Program... Applications Accepted Until the 4th of Next Month
The city of Suwon in Gyeonggi Province is recruiting 'Village Lawyers' who provide free legal consultations for everyday legal issues faced by citizens until the 4th of next month.
On the 21st, Suwon City announced that it plans to expand the Village Lawyer program, currently operating in nine districts, to cover the entire city starting next month by recruiting additional Village Lawyers.
Applicants must be lawyers registered with the Gyeonggi Central Bar Association.

Selected Village Lawyers will provide legal consultations to citizens remotely (via email or phone) for two years and guide them through necessary legal procedures.
Suwon City plans to adjust the number of assignments based on the number of appointed Village Lawyers and consultation requests.
Citizens who wish to receive free legal consultations must visit their local district administrative welfare center to apply.
