SK Donates 2 Billion KRW in Relief Funds to Support Flood Victims
SK Group has donated 2 billion KRW to help victims affected by the heavy rain.
On the 20th, SK Group announced that it had donated 2 billion KRW to the National Disaster Relief Association. The donation will be used for disaster relief supplies and restoration of flood-affected areas.

View original imageSK Telecom, SK Broadband, SK Networks Service, Service Top, and other telecommunications affiliates have been conducting public support activities for flood-affected residents at the Yecheon-gun Cultural and Sports Center in Yecheon-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do, where temporary shelters for disaster victims were set up since the 16th.
SK Telecom has installed communication support booths and Internet TV (IPTV) and is providing Wi-Fi services. They have also deployed maintenance and parts management buses offering free mobile phone inspections and cleaning, flood-damaged phone repairs, and rental phone services. Relief supplies such as auxiliary batteries, wet wipes, and bottled water are also being provided.

SK Hynix is conducting emergency support activities through the Hi-Safety project, which started last year with a 500 million KRW fund to support disaster relief kits and shelters for victims in case of disasters. Since the 14th, SK Hynix has been providing mattresses, blankets, partitions, and hygiene tools to victims in Nonsan-si and Gongju-si in Chungcheongnam-do, Cheongju-si in Chungcheongbuk-do, and Yecheon-gun in Gyeongsangbuk-do, areas severely affected by the heavy rain.
