[Tomorrow's Weather] Heatwave Continues... Heatwave Warnings Across Most of the Country

View original imageMany places nationwide will see daytime temperatures rise above 31 degrees Celsius, and especially in areas under heatwave warnings, high humidity will cause the highest perceived temperature to exceed 33 degrees Celsius, making it very hot.
The Korea Meteorological Administration issued heatwave warnings at 10 a.m. on the 20th for Gyeonggi Province (Gimpo, Yeoncheon, Pocheon, Gapyeong, Yangju, Uijeongbu, Paju, Pyeongtaek, Anseong, Yeoju, Gwangju, Yangpyeong), Gangwon Province (Hwacheon, Hongcheon plains), and Seoul (southeastern and southwestern areas). Additionally, heatwave advisories were issued at the same time for most parts of Gyeonggi, Incheon, Gangwon, Chungnam and Chungbuk, Jeonnam and Jeonbuk, Gyeongnam and Gyeongbuk, as well as Daejeon, Gwangju, Daegu, and Sejong.
The heatwave warnings will continue until the 21st.
The morning low temperatures are forecast to be between 20 and 23 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs between 26 and 33 degrees Celsius. The sky will be partly cloudy nationwide, and Jeju Island will be cloudy. There is a chance of showers from afternoon to evening in the inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, inland Gwangju and Jeolla, northern inland Gyeongbuk, and inland Gyeongnam.
Expected precipitation amounts are 5 to 40 mm in inland and mountainous Gangwon, 5 to 20 mm in inland Gwangju and Jeolla, 5 to 30 mm in northern inland Gyeongbuk, and 5 to 20 mm in inland Gyeongnam. Mountainous areas of Jeju Island are also expected to receive 5 to 20 mm of rain between the evening of the 19th and the 20th.
Fine dust levels are expected to be 'Good' to 'Moderate' in most regions nationwide. However, Incheon may experience temporarily 'Unhealthy' levels in the morning.

Sea waves will be 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the East Sea and South Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 meters in the West Sea coastal waters. In the offshore waters (about 200 km from the coastline), wave heights are predicted to be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East Sea and South Sea, and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the West Sea.
