SR, Honam Line and Other SRT Operations Partially Delayed
SRT operator SR announced on the 19th at 8 a.m. that SRT high-speed trains on the Gyeongbu High-Speed Line (Suseo~Busan) are operating without interruption, but on the Honam High-Speed Line (Suseo~Mokpo), some routes (Gwangju Songjeong~Mokpo) have been suspended due to the possibility of unpredictable damage caused by heavy rain. Even trains running normally are operating at reduced speed, causing a total of 18 trains to be delayed.
Details of delayed trains include 9 trains delayed less than 10 minutes, 5 trains delayed between 10 minutes and less than 19 minutes, and 4 trains delayed between 20 minutes and less than 30 minutes.
SR stated that if preceding trains continue to operate at reduced speed due to weather and track conditions, the delay time for following trains may increase further.
