Gwangju Gwangsan Fire Station Patrols Areas at Risk of Wind and Flood Damage
On the 18th, the Gwangsan Fire Station in Gwangju announced that it conducted preventive patrols in areas prone to flood and water damage within its jurisdiction.
The preventive patrols were organized to check the water levels in flood-prone areas around the Hwangryong River and Yeongsan River, and to prevent damage caused by flooding through patrols in low-lying areas.
The Gwangsan Fire Station plans to take thorough measures to prepare for flood and water damage by ▲conducting on-site inspections of flood-prone areas ▲pre-inspecting water rescue equipment ▲establishing an emergency response system.
