Delivery of Kwangdong Black Rice Tea to Flood Victims in Chungnam and Gyeongbuk Regions
Kwangdong Pharmaceutical announced on the 18th that it will urgently provide more than 12,000 bottles of 'Kwangdong Black Rice Tea' to flood victims in the Chungnam and Gyeongbuk regions who are struggling due to record-breaking heavy rain damage.
The company urgently prepared Kwangdong Black Rice Tea so that flood victims affected by the sudden heavy rain can use it as a substitute for drinking water. Through the Korea National Council on Social Welfare and the Korean Red Cross, the relief supplies will be provided to evacuees staying in temporary shelters. In addition to this emergency support, Kwangdong Pharmaceutical is also considering additional assistance for areas and flood victims in need of drinking water.
A Kwangdong Pharmaceutical official stated, "We prepared the product to provide a substitute for drinking water that residents devastated by the heavy rain damage can safely drink," adding, "We hope this will help everyone return to their daily lives as soon as possible, even if only a little."
