Jindo Fire Station, All-Out Effort for On-Site Measures and Patrol Activities in Flooded Areas
Jindo Fire Station (Chief Kim Gwang-seon) is making every effort to ensure safety measures and patrol activities in the flooded areas.
On this day, Jindo Fire Station patrolled around the Jindocheon area and the Jisan-myeon drainage pump station to check the water level and inspect the drainage status. They also contacted the Rural Development Administration, urging them to do their best in drainage efforts.
As of the morning of this day, 9 reports including flooding were received, and safety measures were carried out.
Earlier, around 7 a.m. the previous day, after receiving a report of flooding on a forest road near the Jindo-gun bus terminal due to sudden heavy rain, two vehicles were dispatched to carry out drainage work and other on-site safety measures.
Kim Gwang-seon, Chief of Jindo Fire Station, said, “We will do our best to minimize damage to residents through proactive preventive patrols and prompt on-site activities in case of disasters.”
