YouTuber Accomplice in Yoo Ah-in's Marijuana Smoking Case... Sent to Prosecution Without Detention
YouTuber A, who is accused of smoking marijuana with actor Yoo Ah-in (real name Eom Hong-sik, 37), has been handed over to the prosecution.
On the 17th, the Narcotics Crime Investigation Unit of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency announced that A was sent to the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office without detention on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act.
A is suspected of smoking marijuana in the United States in January along with Yoo Ah-in and four acquaintances. It is known that A admitted to the charges during the police investigation. The prosecution plans to summon A in the future to investigate the circumstances of drug use with Yoo Ah-in and others.
Last year, the police received information from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety regarding Yoo Ah-in's suspected propofol abuse and launched an investigation. In February, the police requested analysis of Yoo Ah-in's hair and urine samples from the National Forensic Service, which detected narcotic substances including marijuana components, propofol, cocaine, and ketamine.
