Gwangju Dong-gu and Chosun University Sign Agreement for Mutual Development in Social Welfare
On the 17th, Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, signed an agreement with the Department of Public Administration and Social Welfare at Chosun University to promote mutually beneficial development in social welfare that residents can directly experience.
This agreement aims for mutual cooperation to ensure the smooth provision of the "Dong-gu Style Gwangju-Daum Integrated Care Service" and to discover differentiated welfare policies reflecting the characteristics of the Dong-gu community.
The main contents of the agreement include ▲collaborative research and development of welfare policies reflecting the characteristics of the Dong-gu community ▲educational cooperation to strengthen the case management capabilities of Dong-gu welfare officials ▲the role of Chosun University Department of Public Administration and Social Welfare professors as advisors and supervisors for Dong-gu welfare officials' case management ▲joint projects between Chosun University students and Dong-gu.
Dong-gu plans to actively pursue policy development to provide seamless welfare services based on this agreement.
Additionally, starting this month, training to enhance the case management capabilities of Dong-gu welfare officials will be conducted by region to realize welfare that residents can directly feel.
