Three Organizations Join Hands to Promote 'Historical City Seoul'
'Research and Academic Events' Memorandum of Understanding
The Seoul Museum of History, the Seoul History Compilation Office, and the Seoul National University Institute of Seoul Studies have joined hands to present 'Seoul Studies' to the public.
On the 18th, the Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that these organizations signed a business agreement on the 13th at the audiovisual room of the Seoul Museum of History for this year's 'Research and Academic Events on the Historical City of Seoul.'
This business agreement aims to hold an academic conference to present to the public the research accumulated over the past decade on the history and urban space of Seoul under the common theme of 'Seoul Studies.'
Starting this year and continuing over three years, the Institute of Seoul Studies, the Seoul Museum of History, and the Seoul History Compilation Office will sequentially organize events to examine 'Seoul Studies.'
This year, the first academic conference hosted by the Institute of Seoul Studies will be held under the theme 'The Identity of Seoul as the Capital after Liberation, and the Future,' discussing the process of shaping the city of Seoul after liberation and its future identity.

The 1st Joint Seoul Studies Academic Conference will take place on October 26 at the Yajugae Hall of the Seoul Museum of History, where experts who have long conducted research in various fields will be invited to publicly present their research achievements.
