The barbecue restaurant's 'Yes Kids Zone' sign reads, "We welcome lovely babies and children. You can leave dirty diapers here; we will clean them up." Above this sign, another notice was displayed side by side, stating, "If you donate blood certificates for children with pediatric cancer, we will give you one serving of meat," which also caught people's attention.
Netizens' opinions were divided over this. Especially on the online community 'Theqoo,' where the related post received over 800 comments, supporters and opponents of the Yes Kids Zone barbecue restaurant clashed fiercely.
Supporters of the Yes Kids Zone commented, "Let's support this place with our money," "I hope more restaurants like this appear," and "Don't just focus on the 'dirty diapers'; it means the restaurant is very child-friendly," praising the establishment.
On the other hand, some netizens expressed discomfort with the wording and the concept of the Yes Kids Zone. Comments included, "It's a restaurant, so hygiene is a concern," "Isn't it the staff's job to clean dirty diapers?" "This is not 'Yes Kids' but 'Yes Jinsang' (troublemakers). Such troublemakers might think this service is a given and cause problems in other places," and "This encourages bad manners," arguing that the notice was excessively over the top.
Additionally, the barbecue restaurant is known to hold 'Event of the Month' promotions offering gifts to pregnant women, discharged soldiers, and Korean War veterans.
