Busan 15-Minute City Vision Tour Season 2, Third Haeundae-gu Edition Held
Policy on the Creation Project of Daechon Park and Seokdaecheon Waterside Space
Haeundae Cultural Complex Center, 1:40 PM, 17th
Busan City will hold the ‘15-Minute City Vision Tour Season 2 Haeundae-gu Edition’ at 1:40 PM on the 17th at the Haeundae Cultural Complex Center (2nd floor, Community Hall).
The event will be attended by about 250 people including Mayor Park Hyung-joon, Haeundae-gu District Chief Kim Seong-su, National Assembly members Ha Tae-kyung and Kim Mi-ae, Choi Jun-woo, President of Korea Housing Finance Corporation, Eom Tae-gwan, CEO of Osstem Implant, and the Sympathy Policy Group. The program will proceed in the order of ▲pre-event ▲policy briefing ▲discussion and Q&A ▲commemorative photo and performance.
The 15-minute city is a journey created together with citizens. Unlike past district and county tours focused on meeting residents, the city planned the ‘15-Minute City Vision Tour’ in stages with the intention of communicating policies based on policy agendas.
While Season 1 conducted last year aimed to share the vision of the 15-minute city, Season 2, promoted this year, aims to activate citizen participation throughout the entire policy cycle including policy planning, decision-making, execution, and evaluation.
Vision Tour Season 2 has been sequentially conducted targeting 16 autonomous districts and counties starting with Saha-gu in March, and this event is the third in the series, held in Haeundae-gu.
In this Haeundae-gu edition, two policy tasks will be directly proposed (briefed) by local residents, and through discussions and opinion gathering on the policy tasks, the promotion tasks will be selected. The proposed policy tasks are as follows.
15-Minute City Vision Tour Season 2 Haeundae-gu (Creation of Link-Type Park at Daecheon Park).
View original image▲(Daecheon Park Link-type Park Development Project) Daecheon Park, which has long been loved as a resting place for residents, has passed 30 years since its establishment, increasing the need for facility refurbishment due to aging.
Accordingly, the outdoor plaza and stage will be newly renovated, and through the expansion of various green-based facilities such as ecological parks and theme gardens, it will be developed into a space where social and ecological exchanges take place.
▲(Seokdaecheon Nature-friendly Waterside Space Development Project) Seokdaecheon is a space closely related to residents’ daily lives, and continuous demands for maintenance have been raised to expand leisure spaces, resolve odors, and restore the natural ecosystem.
Therefore, in connection with surrounding development plans such as the creation of the Centum 2 Advanced Industrial Complex, a waterside space where local residents can enjoy culture and relaxation reflecting regional characteristics will be created as a new driving force for regional development.

Mayor Park Hyung-joon stated, “Since the adopted tasks are conceptual and proposed tasks, after detailed plans are established, they will be sequentially promoted through consultations with Haeundae-gu Office and related organizations.” He added, “As these projects are closely related to the daily lives of local residents, we ask for continuous interest and support in their implementation.”
