Jeonnam Provincial Assembly Agriculture and Fisheries Committee Pre-Inspection of the '2023 International Agriculture Expo'
The Agriculture and Fisheries Committee of the Jeonnam Provincial Council announced on the 14th that it conducted a preliminary inspection for the successful hosting of the '2023 International Agriculture Expo.'
On the day, the committee toured the expected venue of the expo and inspected facilities and exhibition space arrangements to ensure that Jeonnam's agricultural products are properly promoted on the global stage, where 500 organizations, groups, and companies from 40 countries will participate.
The International Agriculture Expo will be held for 11 days starting October 12 under the theme "Agriculture Protecting the Health of the Earth and Humans" at the Suncheonman Ecological Culture Education Center area.

View original imageChairman Shin Euijun pointed out, "It was quite difficult as all designs were changed when the venue was moved to Suncheon, and the secretariat staff was not supplemented," adding, "The expo workforce currently has 10 members out of the authorized 14, with 4 vacancies, so staffing must be immediately replenished."
He continued, "With about 90 days left before the expo, the Agriculture and Fisheries Committee will spare no effort in promotion and support to achieve the goals of 40 billion KRW in export contracts and 1 million visitors."
