LG Electronics 'Breeze' to Cure Insomnia... "Regulates Brainwaves to Induce Deep Sleep"
Mind Wellness Solution Launching on the 14th
Real-Time EEG Measurement and Regulation Induction
LG Electronics announced on the 14th the launch of the 'Breeze' solution, which helps reduce stress and promote deep sleep. It measures customers' brainwaves in real time and provides content that induces brainwave regulation to improve their condition. It is a 'mind wellness' solution (a healthy and happy mental state).
The name Breeze was chosen to convey the refreshing feeling like a gentle breeze. It was first unveiled as a 'sleep care' solution at CES 2023 (International Consumer Electronics Show) in the United States earlier this year and has been expanded into a 'wellness' solution through updates.
Brainwaves are measured using wireless earbuds, and brainwave regulation guidance content is provided through a smartphone application.

Breeze applies the principle of brainwave entrainment, which adjusts brainwaves by using the frequency difference between the left and right hemispheres. For example, to induce the 2 Hz band brainwaves that appear during deep sleep, sounds with a 2 Hz difference are played in each ear.
The app is divided into 'Mind Care' and 'Sleep Care' modes. It offers not only frequency sounds that induce relaxation and deep sleep but also about 90 types of content that can be listened to together. These include lullabies and ASMR sounds composed by domestic and international artists such as Lucid Fall.
The 'Mind Care' mode provides sounds that induce 'alpha waves,' which indicate psychological stability, along with breathing guides. The 'Sleep Care' mode induces 'theta waves' and 'delta waves,' which appear during sleep. It also displays graphs representing sleep conditions.

The results showed that using Breeze lowered the levels of 'cortisol,' a stress hormone. The time taken to fall asleep and the duration of awakenings during sleep were reduced.
Breeze is the first product from LG Labs. LG Labs is a marketing platform that delivers experiences of LG Electronics' innovative products and solutions. It is sold through the LG Electronics Online Brand Shop (OBS). The price is 440,000 KRW based on the shipment price.
