On the 11th (local time), President Yoon Suk-yeol held a brief meeting with Ant?nio Costa, Prime Minister of Portugal, on the sidelines of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) summit, agreeing to actively support cooperation between companies.
That morning, President Yoon met with Prime Minister Costa in Vilnius, Lithuania, to discuss ways to strengthen practical cooperation between the two countries.

At the meeting, Prime Minister Costa expressed his gratitude for the warm hospitality he received during his visit to Korea last April. He also evaluated that the friendly cooperative relationship between the two countries had been further strengthened as a result of the visit. In particular, Prime Minister Costa expressed hope that Portugal would closely cooperate with Korean semiconductor companies to participate in the value chain solidarity of the global supply network.
In response, President Yoon promised to support smooth cooperation between companies of the two countries. He added, "I look forward to strengthening practical cooperation in various fields, including digital, development cooperation, and human exchanges."

Additionally, the two leaders confirmed the international community's solidarity regarding the war in Ukraine and agreed on the importance of continuing cooperation for the swift peace and restoration of normalcy in Ukraine.
