A total of 191 candidates passed the written exam for the first local government official recruitment in Ulsan City this year.
Ulsan City announced the successful candidates of the 2023 first local government official appointment written exam held on June 10 on the 11th.
The 2023 first local government official appointment exam selected a total of 147 candidates across 15 job categories, including Grade 9 Administration, with 2,179 applicants, showing an average competition rate of 15 to 1.
The number of successful candidates by job category is as follows: 60 in Administration, 5 in Taxation, 3 in Computer Science, 17 in Social Welfare, 3 in Librarian, 3 in Stenography, 16 in Engineering, 2 in Agriculture, 3 in Greenery, 3 in Health, 2 in Nursing, 6 in Environment, 58 in Facilities, 3 in Broadcasting and Communications, and 7 in Driving, totaling 191.
The main passing scores were 91 points for General Administration, 80 for Taxation, 84 for Social Welfare, 82 for General Machinery, 98 for Health, 58 for General Civil Engineering, and 85 for Driving.
Among the successful candidates, 113 (59.2%) were female and 78 (40.8%) were male. The age distribution was 41 (21.5%) aged 20-24, 97 (50.8%) aged 25-30, 34 (17.8%) aged 31-35, and 19 (9.9%) aged 36 and above. The youngest and oldest successful candidates were 22 years old (Librarian Grade 9) and 48 years old (Social Welfare Grade 9), respectively.
Those who passed the written exam must submit the required documents for the interview by July 17, and the interview will be held over two days on August 17 and 18 at the Citizen Hall and other locations within the City Hall.

The final successful candidates will be announced on September 7 through the Ulsan City website and the local government internet application center bulletin board.
