Kim Yo-jong "Unauthorized Intrusion Threatens US Military Flights"... Repeated Threat
"US Strategic Reconnaissance Aircraft Allegedly Intrudes into East Sea EEZ Airspace"
Kim Yo-jong, Deputy Director of the Workers' Party of Korea, on the 11th threatened again that if the US Air Force strategic reconnaissance aircraft repeatedly intrudes into the airspace over the East Sea Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ), the military will take responsive actions.
In a statement released that day, Kim said that the US Air Force strategic reconnaissance aircraft unlawfully intruded into North Korea's economic zone airspace, and "I have already announced our military's responsive actions according to my mandate," according to the Korean Central News Agency. She added, "If the unauthorized intrusions continue, the US military will experience very dangerous flights."
Kim also directed harsh criticism at South Korea's military, saying that the issue related to the airspace is a matter between North Korea and the US military, and "The military thugs of the Republic of Korea should stop meddling presumptuously and immediately shut their mouths."
