Dongdaemun-gu (Mayor Lee Pil-hyung) announced that it will recruit and operate an "Exercise Experience Group" targeting residents aged 18 to 64 living, working, or studying in the Dongdaemun-gu area to improve obesity and promote physical activity among citizens.
The program will be held twice, on July 19 and August 16, at the multipurpose auditorium on the 2nd floor of the district office, recruiting 50 participants per session on a first-come, first-served basis.
This experience consists of two parts: Part 1 includes body composition measurement and exercise/obesity quizzes, and Part 2 involves direct participation in various exercises using small exercise tools, such as aerobic exercise, strength training, and coordination exercises.
Those who wish to participate can apply via the KakaoTalk channel "Dongdaemun-gu Daily Life Becomes Exercise" chatroom menu or by phone through the Health Promotion Team at the Dongdaemun-gu Public Health Center.
