Jinju City Takes Immediate Action to Improve and Reinforce Facilities After Accident
On the 9th at around 11:40 a.m., an accident occurred where the Eco Rider at Wolasan Forest Leisure Facility in Jinju-si, Gyeongnam, stopped.
The Eco Rider is a bicycle-shaped facility that runs through the air up to 15 meters high and is also called the "Sky Bicycle."
According to the Gyeongnam Fire Headquarters on the 10th, the bicycle running at the front stopped about 12 meters above the ground, causing the following five bicycles to stop in midair.
Six passengers were suspended in the air for about 20 minutes before being rescued, but no casualties occurred.
Eco Rider, a forest leisure facility on Wolsan Mountain in Jinju-si, Gyeongnam, has stopped, leaving passengers hanging in the air.

An on-site operator pulled the front bicycle with a rescue cart, and the following bicycles resumed normal operation and moved to the destination.
Jinju City, immediately after the accident, started analyzing the cause and conducting safety inspections together with the provincial fire headquarters from the afternoon of the same day.
The city reported that the inspection concluded the accident was caused by derailment, and plans to improve derailment prevention facilities and reinforce rescue equipment.
