On the 10th, the Gyeonggi Job Foundation announced that it is conducting the "Occupational Safety and Health Excellence Certification Project," which identifies model companies complying with occupational safety and health regulations among small and medium-sized enterprises with fewer than 50 employees by the 18th, certifies them as excellent companies, and supports funds for improving working environments.
The Gyeonggi Job Foundation provides a minimum of 4 million KRW to a maximum of 6 million KRW in funds for improving working environments to the excellent companies. These funds can be used for facility improvements such as rest areas, restrooms, and cafeterias for workers, purchasing safety equipment, and industrial safety education.
Value-added tax must be borne by the company. Additionally, selected companies will be awarded certificates and plaques, and receive additional points when applying for SME development funds.
The certification period for excellent companies is two years from the date of certification. Companies whose certification period has expired may participate in new certification if they meet the application criteria.
