Yoon Awards Appointment Letter to Cultural Special Advisor Yoo In-chon
Awarded to U Dong-gi, Chairman of the Provincial Era Committee, and Lee Jeong-hyun, Vice Chairman
President Yoon Suk-yeol presented a letter of appointment to Yoo In-chon, former Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, who was appointed as the Special Advisor for Culture and Sports (Cultural Special Advisor) on the 7th. Special Advisor Yoo served as the inaugural Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism under the Lee Myung-bak administration for about three years until January 2011.
On the morning of the same day, President Yoon held a letter of appointment ceremony for the Cultural Special Advisor and the Chairperson and Vice Chairperson of the Local Era Committee at the Freedom Hall of the Yongsan Presidential Office.

Special Advisor Yoo graduated with a master's degree from the Department of Theater and Film at Chung-Ang University and its graduate school, and worked as a theater actor and director. He was appointed Minister of Culture at the start of the Lee Myung-bak administration in 2008. It is known that Special Advisor Yoo has served as an advisor on culture and arts policies since the launch of the Yoon administration.

Before the Local Era Committee was launched, Chairperson Woo served as the Chairperson of the National Balanced Development Committee under the Yoon administration.
