Kakao Games' New Release 'Ares' Surpasses 2 Million Pre-Registrations
Kakao Games announced on the 7th that the pre-registration participants for the major MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) "Ares: Rise of Guardians" (hereinafter "Ares") have surpassed 2 million.
Ares reached 1 million pre-registrations just 5 days after starting pre-registration on May 31, and with the launch approaching, it has achieved 2 million pre-registrations, raising expectations.
Ares is a PC and mobile cross-platform MMORPG newly introduced by Ban Seung-cheol, the CEO who developed the "Dark Avenger" series and founded Second Dive. It features an original futuristic universe set in a vast space. Notable features include combat based on the "Suit" change system and various mounts that traverse both air and land.
Pre-registration is available until launch through the Kakao Games pre-registration page, Google Play, and the Apple App Store. All pre-registered users of "Ares" will receive rewards including in-game items such as the "Mount (Phantom) Supply Box" and KakaoTalk emoticons.
