CJ Logistics, Certified for 'ISO 37301 Compliance Management System'... "3 Consecutive Years"
CJ Logistics announced on the 7th that it has passed the post-audit of ‘ISO37301 (Compliance Management System)’ conducted by the Korea Compliance Institute, obtaining the international standard certification for compliance management for the third consecutive year.
CJ Logistics was the first in the logistics industry to acquire the ‘ISO37301’ certification in 2021. In the post-audit conducted this year, it received favorable evaluations for proactively identifying and preventing legal and regulatory risks, as well as compliance training for employees, successfully achieving re-certification. Post-audits are conducted annually on a one-year basis after the initial certification.
‘ISO37301’ is a certification for compliance management system standards established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). It is a representative international standard aimed at achieving corporate compliance management, organizational governance, and ethical management. Compliance refers to activities that prevent potential risk factors in advance by adhering to laws and corporate ethics, minimizing possible losses, and protecting the company, employees, and various stakeholders.
CJ Logistics is making various efforts to establish a compliance culture. Since the establishment of a dedicated compliance organization in 2016, it has held a Compliance Management Committee annually. To ensure compliance with all laws and policies related to business activities, the company operates company-wide training, on-site monitoring, and an internal reporting system.
To enable employees to more easily access and practice compliance information, CJ Logistics operates a related bulletin board on its company website and sends out a monthly newsletter. Through this, employees can quickly acquire the latest policy and legal information as well as behavioral guidelines.
