In the women's university division, they secured first place in the Coxed Four (4+) event. In the mixed division, which includes both men and women, they placed third.
The UNIST Rowing Team is dedicating themselves to training at a residential camp in Busan, which began on June 28, to defend their title at the upcoming National University Rowing Competition scheduled for late July. Coach Hanyangsang, affiliated with the Ulsan UNIST Sports Club, is in charge of their coaching.
Coach Han said, “I am amazed by the students' passion as they diligently participate in water and physical training sessions from early morning through afternoon without distinction. With this atmosphere, I am confident that we can win the university rowing competition again this year, following last year's victory.”
The university rowing competition is scheduled to be held from July 29 to 30 at the Yesan Yedangho Rowing Stadium.
