Gunsan Museum Citizen Open Gallery 'Baehyeoncheol' Solo Exhibition
Jeonbuk-do Gunsan Modern History Museum (hereinafter referred to as the Museum) announced on the 4th that it will hold the 'Baehyuncheol Photo Exhibition: Gachanghwa' on the 2nd floor of the Citizen Open Gallery until August 27.
This exhibition showcases about 20 photographs capturing the magnificent flock dance of the Greater White-fronted Goose, a winter migratory bird passing through Geumgangho in spring and autumn. The works utilize special shooting techniques such as panning and zooming to capture the dynamic movements of the geese.

View original imageThe panning technique involves moving the camera in accordance with the speed or direction of the subject to express the vividness of the moving subject. The zooming technique uses zoom to place the subject in the center and either push or pull the zoom while shooting, focusing on the subject or conveying a sense of speed.
The artist has won numerous awards including the Grand Prize at the Hanmi HMP Photo Contest and the Gold Prize at the Jinhae National Photo Contest, and is currently actively working as the director of Soryong Clinic.
The Museum’s Citizen Open Gallery exhibition hall is a space prepared to support the creative artistic activities of local artists. Every year, exhibition artists are selected through an open call, providing exhibition opportunities and support for promotional material production.
