Hwasun-gun, Kang Jong-cheol Appointed as Deputy Governor
Deputy Governor Kang: "I Will Be an Open Deputy Governor Who Listens to the Hearts of the County Residents"
On the 3rd, Hwasun-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it held the inauguration ceremony for Deputy Governor Kang Jong-cheol at the county office's large conference room.
The inauguration ceremony, held along with the regular July assembly, was attended by about 200 people including officials from the provincial government and employees.
In his inaugural speech, Deputy Governor Kang Jong-cheol said, "All administration and policies are based on the field, so let us approach the residents more closely in various ways," urging employees to engage in field administration and proactive administration.
He also stated that he would communicate openly and listen to employees to create a pleasant and rewarding workplace based on consideration and respect.
Regarding proactive administration, he emphasized, "Proactive administration includes collaboration, creativity, innovation, and expertise," adding, "When Hwasun-gun undertakes projects like the 10,000-won rental housing support program for youth and newlyweds, it becomes a standard and the best policy. If we make good use of this, our county administration's development will not stop."
Deputy Governor Kang expressed his new determination, saying, "I will devote all my passion and capabilities to realizing the county administration goals of 'Renew Hwasun! Make residents happy!', creating an era of 5 million tourists, a wealthy farming village where farmers prosper, and a self-sufficient city of 100,000 people led by vaccine and bio industries."
Governor Koo Bok-gyu said, "Deputy Governor Kang Jong-cheol is an outstanding public official whose abilities and experience I have observed since his time as a member of the Jeollanam-do Provincial Assembly. I understand that other cities and counties fiercely competed to have him as their deputy governor, so I am very pleased that he has come to Hwasun."

Deputy Governor Kang Jong-cheol, originally from Haenam, entered public service in March 1989 as an administrative level 9 official and has served as head of the Public Relations Planning Team, Taxation Team, Personnel Team, Agricultural Products Distribution Division, and General Affairs Division at the Jeollanam-do provincial government.
