Suncheon Garden Expo July Cultural Events Abundant

Colorful Performances Every Weekend Evening

Special Programs Including Indoor Magic Shows Provided

The Suncheon Bay International Garden Expo Organizing Committee (Chairman Nogwan-gyu, Mayor of Suncheon) announced that it will hold various cultural events to welcome the peak vacation season and summer vacation.

In July, visitors can enjoy a variety of performances in the garden, including the planned performance "Ocheon Green Art Fair," the magic program "Weekend FUN Show" held in a cool indoor setting, "Earthing Festa" with the promotional ambassadors, and "Garden Classic" resonating throughout the garden.

The theme of this month's planned performance, "Ocheon Green Art Fair," signifies the transformation of Ocheon Green Square into a cultural liberation zone, a space for enjoying cultural performances in daily life and a stage for various artists. Every weekend evening at Ocheon Green Square, visitors can enjoy various creative street art performances, the musical gala show by the original diva Bada, the Garden Music Festival, and street dance performances.

The "Weekend FUN Show" is a magic show held indoors in a cool environment, specially prepared for children on summer vacation. Every Saturday, a science magic show using scientific principles is held, and every Sunday, a laser magic show using light is presented twice at 2 PM and 4 PM in the Wetland Center's first-floor theater.

"Earthing Festa" with the promotional ambassadors is an event held throughout the expo site on the 16th, themed around "Earthing," which means connecting the Earth and our bodies. The event consists of an Earthing Tour, where participants walk the Earthing Path in the expo site and fill out an Earthing map, an Earthing performance with the expo promotional ambassadors, and a talk concert. Anyone visiting the expo site on that day can participate.

Additionally, every weekend at 2 PM in the Stream Path Plaza, visitors can enjoy calm classical performances under cool shade, and from Tuesday to Saturday (Tuesday to Friday at 7 PM, Saturday at 6 PM), a yoga program is held at Ocheon Green Square, open for anyone to experience.

Mayor Nogwan-gyu of Suncheon said, "The garden is the best summer getaway with a cool space, diverse performances, and a special emotional harmony," adding, "We hope everyone enjoys the summer garden to the fullest along with the various cultural events."
