Jeong Yong-in, former head of Jeonnam Fire Academy, will be inaugurated as the 18th chief of Boseong Fire Station on the 3rd.
Chief Jeong, a native of Gwangyang, entered the fire service in 1994. He has held key positions including Planning and Finance Officer at the National Fire Agency, Fire Policy Bureau, 119 Rescue and Emergency Medical Services Bureau, Audit Officer at the Ministry of Public Safety and Security, Planning and Finance Officer at the National Fire Agency, and Fire Administration Team Leader and Fire Academy Chief at Jeonnam Fire Headquarters.
Having served in various important roles both locally and centrally, he is recognized for his excellent planning skills and ability to drive work forward. He is also trusted within the organization for his amicable and straightforward personality, earning respect from both senior and junior staff.
