Commemorative Event Held at Ocheon Green Plaza on July 9

SES Alum Singer Bada to Host 'Musical Gala Show'

The Suncheon Bay International Garden Expo Organizing Committee (Chairman Noh Kwan-gyu, Mayor of Suncheon) will hold a celebration event on July 9 at 6:30 PM at the permanent stage in Ocheon Green Plaza to commemorate surpassing 5 million visitors.

The event will proceed in the following order: souvenir distribution to on-site visitors, a pre-show performance by the mobile percussion group ‘La Percussion,’ on-site prize giveaways and a 5 million visitor prize drawing, followed by a musical gala show by singer Bada.

The grand prize for the 5 million visitor drawing is a Hyundai Avante Modern car. The organizing committee will select one winner from those who pre-entered the drawing via prize boxes installed at the National Garden gates (East Gate, West Gate, South Gate), Suncheon Bay Wetland, and Ocheon Green Plaza.

Other on-site prizes include accommodation vouchers for Shillange, bicycles, dehumidifiers, expo admission tickets, and usage vouchers for Myeongseong Sauna sponsored by CEO Yang Woon-seung of Myeongseong Sauna. On-site prize entries are accepted through prize boxes installed at Ocheon Green Plaza since June 24, and winners must participate in the event on the day to claim their prizes.

After all prize drawings conclude, at 8 PM, singer Bada’s musical gala show featuring a spectacular performance combining singing, acting, and more will take place.

The celebration for 5 million visitors is open to everyone, and attendees can enjoy the musical gala show by bringing personal mats or blankets to their preferred spots within Ocheon Green Plaza.

Meanwhile, due to a rain forecast, the organizing committee rescheduled the originally planned July 1 celebration for surpassing 5 million visitors to July 9.
