Boseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it will conduct the ‘2023 Citizen Impressive Courtesy Training’ at Jaeamsan Natural Recreation Forest from the 27th to the 30th.
This courtesy training is conducted four times, with about 60 participants per session, targeting 220 newly appointed public officials below grade 7 who have little experience dealing with civil complaints.
In this training, designed to provide impressive civil complaint services to citizens, the following were covered: ▲Response techniques for phone and in-person civil complaints according to different situations ▲Cultivation of a courteous mindset and enhancement of courtesy capabilities ▲Stress management and emotional control programs ▲Strengthening capabilities to handle grievance complaints ▲Integrity obligation education.
In particular, as a time for communication and healing for employees, the program included lectures on stress management methods as well as experiences such as eco-adventure, zipline, and bear sledding within Jaeamsan Natural Recreation Forest, receiving great responses.
Kim Cheol-woo, Governor of Boseong-gun, said, “Courtesy to the public is the most fundamental virtue that public officials must have,” and added, “We will gradually expand courtesy training in the future.”
Meanwhile, to enhance resident courtesy services, Boseong-gun has been operating the ‘Civil Complaint Guidance Helper System’ since January 2023 and designates every Wednesday as ‘Employee Courtesy Commitment Day’ to promote it.
