Airport Railroad Installs 'AREX Sculpture' in Gongdeok Station Transfer Passage... Photo Certification Event
Airport Railroad will hold an event using the AREX sculptures installed in the transfer passage at Gongdeok Station until the 6th of next month.
The AREX sculptures were installed on both walls of the transfer passage connecting the Airport Railroad and Lines 5 and 6 at Gongdeok Station on the 20th. They introduce landmarks around the lines and intuitively show the direction for transferring to the Airport Railroad.
This event consists of two parts to promote the AREX sculptures: a photo certification event and a quiz event.
For the photo certification event, participants need to follow the official Airport Railroad Instagram account, take a photo with the sculptures, and upload it to their personal Instagram story tagging the Airport Railroad account. Winners will be selected by lottery to receive an Apple Watch (1 person), AREX ready bags (10 people), picnic mats (10 people), and Starbucks coffee coupons (50 people).
For the quiz event, participants must count how many of the Airport Railroad characters 'Speed' and 'Nar' are hidden in the sculptures, then submit their answers via the QR code on the promotional poster attached to the wall. Winners will be selected by lottery to receive Speed doll keyrings (10 people), Nar doll keyrings (10 people), and Starbucks coffee coupons (100 people).

The winners will be announced on the official Airport Railroad Instagram on the 11th of next month.

Gongdeok Station (Mapo-gu, Seoul) is a major transfer station where passengers can use the Airport Railroad and Lines 5 and 6. It is also known for various attractions and food options, including the Gyeongui Line Forest Trail extending from Exit 1 of Gongdeok Station to Yeonnam-dong, and Gongdeok Market, famous for its jeon (Korean pancakes) and jokbal (pig's trotters) alleys.
