Dongjak-gu (Mayor Park Ilha) announced on the 28th that it is recruiting a 'Disaster Recovery Promotion Team' to provide assistance in specialized fields such as electricity and boilers in the event of a disaster.
As a proactive measure against various natural disasters, the district has newly established the 'Disaster Recovery Promotion Team' to fully utilize the talents and expertise of residents and to restore damage through public-private cooperation.
The Disaster Recovery Promotion Team is divided into △ housing repair △ electrical maintenance △ specialized equipment fields, and consists of about 30 members holding relevant certifications and skills such as wallpaper technician, architectural painting technician, electrical engineer, energy management engineer, and plumbing industry engineer.
In the event of a disaster, members will be deployed to urgently affected areas to volunteer by donating their talents in repairing and inspecting facilities.
Applications are accepted until 6 p.m. on the 30th, and the recruitment period may be extended depending on circumstances. For more details, please contact the Urban Safety Division of Dongjak-gu Office.
The district conducts various resident-led safety campaigns such as preemptive monitoring activities in areas vulnerable to natural disaster damage, promotion of resident action guidelines, and evacuation shelters through the operation of a self-governing disaster prevention group composed of residents.
