Sales Suspension Measures
Escherichia coli was detected in excess in beef bone broth products sold on the market.
According to the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety on the 27th, the livestock product processing company Dadam Co., Ltd.'s "Pure Beef Bone Broth" (500g) distributed on the market has been suspended from sale and recalled. The recalled product was manufactured on the 7th of this month, with a distribution and consumption expiration date of June 6, next year. The barcode number is 8809625750015, and the packaging unit is 500g.

The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety stated, "Sellers storing the product should stop sales and return it to the distributor," and "Consumers who purchased the product are asked to return it to the manufacturer and actively cooperate with the recall."
Previously, the Ministry frequently took immediate recall actions along with sales suspension due to foreign substances and other issues. More than three cases have occurred just this month.
On the 23rd, the Ministry announced that metallic foreign substances were found in "Sambo Goun (美) Bamboo Salt." The problematic product is sold for beauty purposes such as massage, and the recall target is the product manufactured on November 23, 2022.
There is no separately indicated distribution or consumption expiration date. The packaging unit is 1kg.
Additionally, on the 20th, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety suspended sales and recalled Dongwon Home Food's "Dakgalbi Iron Plate Fried Rice" distributed on the market. This was because the "Sweet and Savory Dakgalbi Stir-fry Sauce," one of the components of the product, failed the bacterial growth standard test.

Failure to meet bacterial growth standards means that bacteria developed as a result of exposure to certain conditions in a sterilized packaged product.
The problematic product includes Dakgalbi Fried Rice with distribution and consumption expiration dates of January 13, 2024, January 15, 2024, and January 27, 2024, and the Dakgalbi Stir-fry Sauce component with an expiration date of May 31, 2024.
The barcode number is 8809451526266, and the packaging unit is 270g (among the components, Dakgalbi Iron Plate Fried Rice: 60g).
On the 19th, a grilled dried filefish product manufactured by Badawon was found to contain metallic foreign substances exceeding the standard, resulting in sales suspension and recall measures.
