The two banks signed the partnership agreement covering products, services, and overall business operations to minimize inconvenience to financial consumers and improve convenience following the phased discontinuation of Korea Citibank's consumer finance services.
The business partnership between KB Kookmin Bank and Korea Citibank is scheduled to begin on the 3rd of next month. Customers of Korea Citibank who did not have transactions with KB Kookmin Bank will be able to receive the same level of benefits at KB Kookmin Bank as they did at Korea Citibank.
Through this partnership agreement, existing Korea Citibank customers will be able to use ▲products and services (major financial products, designation of foreign exchange banks for transactions, safe deposit boxes, etc.) at KB Kookmin Bank in the future, and ▲a KB Kookmin Bank desk will be operated within Korea Citibank branches to provide related information.
