Housekeepers Visit Homes to Assist with Cleaning, Dishwashing, Garbage Disposal, Laundry, and Other Household Chores
Yangcheon-gu (District Mayor Lee Gijae) announced that it will recruit users for the 'Seoul-Style Household Service,' which alleviates household burdens such as cleaning, dishwashing, and laundry, targeting 600 households of pregnant women, dual-income, and multi-child families from June 27 to July 6.
The 'Seoul-Style Household Service,' where housekeepers assist with household chores, supports healthy and safe childbirth for pregnant families and helps dual-income and multi-child families balance work and family life.
On the days requested by the user households, housekeepers visit to provide household services such as cleaning, dishwashing, garbage disposal, and laundry. Each session lasts 4 hours, and a total of 6 sessions are available free of charge.
The eligible users are pregnant women, dual-income, and multi-child families residing in Yangcheon-gu with a median income below 150%, prioritizing households experiencing gaps in family care.
This year, the district plans to support a total of 600 households. Households wishing to use the service can apply online by registering supporting documents on the Seoul-Style Household Service or Family Seoul websites from 10:00 AM on June 27 to 11:59 PM on July 6.
The district will verify eligibility and select final recipients based on priority among applicants.
