BPA Operates Working Group to Revitalize Phase 1 of Bukhang Redevelopment Project
Busan Port Authority (BPA), together with the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries and Busan City, formed the ‘Working Council for the Early Revitalization of the Phase 1 Redevelopment Project of Bukhang’ to discuss measures to stimulate investment in the remaining sites.
On the 23rd at 1:30 PM, BPA held a meeting to form the working council in the medium conference room on the 3rd floor of the Busan Port Authority building, where they discussed timely transfer of public facilities and ways to promote investment in the landmark site and other remaining sites.
The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, Busan Port Authority, and Busan City agreed at the council to join forces to resolve the issue of limited public access to the waterfront park and facilities caused by prolonged transfer of public facilities to local governments after the completion of Bukhang Phase 1.
They also announced plans to jointly work on re-tendering the landmark site, which failed to attract bids in March, and to promote investment in the remaining Phase 1 sites.
