Changwon Special City to Hold Briefing Session for CES2024 Participating Companies

Sharing Achievements of 10 Companies Participating in CES2023
Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam will hold an information session for companies participating in CES 2024 at the Startup Support Center located in Pallyong-dong, Uichang-gu on the 30th.
Through this event, the city will introduce Changwon Special City's ‘CES Participation Support Project’ and share participation achievements by presenting cases of companies that participated in CES 2023. For companies wishing to participate in CES 2024, the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) will provide an integrated introduction to the Korea Pavilion and a comprehensive explanation about participating in CES 2024.

View original imageSince 2019, the city has been promoting the ‘CES Participation Support Project,’ providing support for participation fees, airfare, promotion costs, interpretation fees, and logistics expenses to companies approved by the CES organizer CTA (Consumer Technology Association, USA). At ‘CES 2023’ held in January this year, 10 outstanding startups from Changwon Special City were supported.
Thanks to Changwon Special City's comprehensive support, the 10 startups that participated in CES 2023 held in Las Vegas, USA, from January 5 to 8 achieved remarkable results, including 974 consultations on-site, consultation amounts totaling 27.23 million USD, and signing 11 MOUs worth 5.5 million USD. With an average of about 3,500 visitors per day, these companies successfully promoted their excellent technologies to overseas buyers and investors and laid a solid foundation for entering overseas markets.
In particular, Edenlux and GS F System, two startups from Changwon, achieved the great honor of winning the ‘CES 2023 Innovation Award,’ marking the first time for Gyeongnam.
