Dongkuk Steel, Open Recruitment for University Graduates, Juniors, and Experienced Employees in the Second Half of the Year
Dongkuk Steel Group's hot-rolled steel business company, Dongkuk Steel, is conducting its first public recruitment since its launch. Dongkuk Steel announced on the 23rd that it is recruiting new university graduates, junior employees, and experienced workers.
New university graduates will be hired in eight fields at the Seoul headquarters: planning, human resources and general affairs, public relations, ESG (environment, social, and governance) planning and management, wire rod sales, shaped steel sales, thick plate distribution sales, and thick plate direct demand sales. The Incheon plant is recruiting in two fields: human resources administration and health. The Pohang plant is hiring in three fields: human resources and general affairs, safety, and research support, while the Dangjin plant is recruiting new employees in the production field.
Junior employee recruitment is a talent selection re-route by Dongkuk Steel, targeting students in the first semester of their senior year at university. Unlike general corporate internship programs, 100% employment is guaranteed upon graduation. Employees work on four designated days per month and receive a fixed monthly academic support allowance.
Junior students will be recruited at the Seoul headquarters for marketing, fund management, procurement and accounting, and disclosure roles. The Incheon plant will hire talents in production and quality fields, and the Pohang plant will recruit in steelmaking production and shaped steel production fields. The experienced employee recruitment is for safety roles, with work based in Incheon.

The recruitment process proceeds in the order of application submission and online PI test, document screening, interview, and health checkup. The deadline for application submission is July 5. The online PI test must be completed within the application period to complete the application. Applicants who are Songwon Scholarship Foundation Songwon scholars will be given preference when applying. The announcement of successful candidates is scheduled for mid-August.
