Kim Cheolsu, Chairman of H Plus Yangji Hospital under the Seoul Hyochon Medical Foundation, received the Volunteer Grand Prize at the 19th Annual General Meeting of the Korean Medical Corporation Association and the 5th Ildong Medical Corporation Social Contribution Award Ceremony held at the Seoul Garden Hotel on the 22nd.

The Ildong Medical Corporation Social Contribution Award Volunteer Grand Prize is given to medical corporation executives recognized for their contributions to enhancing the public nature of healthcare in Korea, alleviating regional medical disparities, and improving the management environment of medical corporations.
Chairman Kim expressed his gratitude, saying, "Although I have many shortcomings, I am thankful for receiving such a great award. As a medical professional, I will solemnly engrave a sense of mission and responsibility in my heart and do my best to fulfill the given calling."

Since starting Kim Cheolsu Internal Medicine and Kim Ranhee Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1976, Chairman Kim has continuously engaged in medical activities and social contribution efforts for 47 years to promote community health. In a rapidly changing medical environment and hospital paradigm, he has led cooperation among medical professionals, contributing not only to the development of the hospital sector but also to improving the quality of medical care in small and medium-sized hospitals through various innovative programs. He has served as President of the Korean Hospital Association, President of the Korean Association of Small and Medium Hospitals, and President of the Korean AIDS Prevention Association. Currently, he is active as the Head of the UN Peace Corps Medical Volunteer Group, Vice President of the Korean Senior Citizens Association, and Head of the Medical Volunteer Group of the National Unification Advisory Council.
