Gyeonggi Office of Education to Hold Two 'Early Admission Briefings' Next Year
The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education will hold the 'University-Linked 2024 Early Admission Information Session' to support high school college entrance information and enhance teachers' guidance capabilities.
On the 22nd, the Office of Education announced that the 2024 early admission information sessions will be held on the 24th at Ajou University (Suwon) and on July 1st at Gachon University (Seongnam), with participation from 24 major universities in the metropolitan area.
At the session, admissions officers from each university will provide information on ▲ key points of the 2024 early admission process ▲ unique university projects and department introductions ▲ last year's admission results and early admission success cases.
The attendees are department heads in charge of college entrance guidance at high schools in the province and homeroom teachers of 3rd-year high school students. Approximately 1,800 pre-registered participants have been tentatively counted.

Hwang Yoon-kyu, Director of the Education Policy Bureau at the Office of Education, said, "This information session was prepared to provide accurate early admission information to high school college entrance guidance teachers and to strengthen their guidance capabilities. We will do our best to support on-site assistance centered on the Gyeonggi College Entrance Information Center to help teachers provide customized guidance to students."
