View original imageFifty new employees who joined S-OIL on June 12 attended a lecture on "Understanding Volunteerism and Citizenship" in the morning as part of the new employee training program to learn the basic attitude toward volunteering. In the afternoon, they engaged in plogging activities by picking up trash around Daewangam Park and removing harmful plants from the beach in collaboration with the Ulsan Volunteer Center.
Kim Gyurim, a new employee who participated in the volunteer activity, said, "It was a great opportunity to experience volunteering and a valuable time to reflect once again on nature and the environment." She added, "Even after being assigned to my department, I will actively participate in various volunteer activities conducted by the company whenever I have time."
S-OIL is making active efforts to help new employees adapt early to company life by providing various training programs, including basic knowledge of production processes, on-site essential training such as firefighting drills, business etiquette, conversations with management and senior employees, and volunteer experience.
