A fire suspected to be arson occurred on Gwanaksan Mountain in Seoul, prompting a police investigation.

View original imageAccording to the Gwanak Police Station on the 21st, a fire suspected to be arson broke out near Gwaneumsa Temple on Gwanaksan Mountain in Namhyeon-dong, Gwanak-gu, Seoul, at around 3:19 PM the previous day.
The police and Gwanak Fire Department estimate that an unidentified man set fires while moving between three locations near Gwaneumsa Temple.
The fire department completely extinguished the fire within 1 hour and 30 minutes after it started. A total of 53 firefighters and 19 pieces of equipment were deployed at the scene.
