What Is the Solution for SME Online Exports in the Endemic Era?
Jungjingong Hosts '2023 Global E-commerce Forum'
The Small and Medium Business Corporation (Chairman Kim Hak-do, hereinafter referred to as SBC) announced on the 21st that it held the '2023 Global E-commerce Forum' at COEX in Seoul. Now in its fourth year, the forum was organized to bring together experts from academia and industry to explore solutions for online exports by small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the endemic era. The event, conducted both on-site and via simultaneous live streaming on YouTube, was attended by over 450 SMEs interested in online exports.
The forum began with a keynote speech by Choi Young, Executive Director of Meta Korea, and proceeded in two sessions. In the first session, under the theme 'Next-Generation E-commerce Technologies and Trends,' presentations were given on ▲ Artificial Intelligence, Virtual and Augmented Reality Technologies and Changes in E-commerce (Professor Lim Il, Yonsei University) ▲ Digital Transformation and New Payment Systems (Lee Woo-yong, CEO of Payoneer Korea) ▲ E-commerce and Eco-friendly Logistics Trends (Kim Hong-joo, Director of UPS Korea).
The second session, themed 'E-commerce Market Expansion Strategies,' shared information and proposed response directions on ▲ Latest E-commerce Trends and Utilization Strategies in the European Market (Lee Soon-soo, Director of Amazon Korea) ▲ Cross-border Business Strategies for Overseas Expansion (Kim Hyung-jun, Manager of Meta Korea) ▲ E-commerce Trends in Japan and Our Entry Strategies (Moon Sung-hyun, Manager of Rakuten).
