Recruitment of Tenants for the '2023 2nd Round of Purchased Rental Housing' Starting from the 22nd
On the 21st, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced that from the 22nd, the second round of tenant recruitment for purchase rental housing for youth and newlyweds will begin in 15 cities and provinces nationwide.
The recruitment scale is a total of 4,441 units, including 2,232 units for youth and 2,209 units for newlyweds. After qualification verification for applicants, move-in can begin as early as the end of August.
Youth purchase rental housing allows residence for up to 6 years at a low rent level of 40-50% of the market price, while newlywed purchase rental housing is supplied in two types: △ Newlywed I type (1,492 units), where residents can live in multi-family houses at 30-40% of the market price, and △ Newlywed II type (717 units), where residents can live in apartments or officetels at 60-80% of the market price.
Newlywed purchase rental housing is available to newlywed couples married within 7 years, prospective newlyweds, and households raising children aged 6 or younger. Additionally, general married households meeting qualification requirements can apply for some types (Newlywed II).

The Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) is recruiting 1,550 youth units and 2,209 newlywed units, which can be checked from the 22nd on the LH subscription center website, and youth purchase rental housing (682 units) recruited by organizations such as the Seoul Housing and Communities Corporation can be checked on the respective organizations' websites (see Reference 2).
