Opposition Criticizes Yoon's 'Suneung Remarks'... "Causing Panic Among Students and Parents"
Hong Sung-guk, Floor Spokesperson, "Yoon Caused an Accident in a School Zone"
The Democratic Party of Korea criticized President Yoon Suk-yeol's remarks regarding the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) on the 18th, saying, "Was it so hard to just stay quiet without knowing much?"
Hong Seong-guk, the Democratic Party's floor spokesperson, stated in a written briefing that day, "Yoon Suk-yeol's 'bumper car style' of governance, which charges ahead without caution, has caused another accident. This time, since the accident happened in a 'school zone,' it deserves aggravated punishment."
Earlier, on the 15th, President Yoon told Education Minister Lee Ju-ho, "Fair discrimination is the essence of all exams, so while maintaining discrimination, exclude areas not covered in the public education curriculum from the CSAT."

He continued, "The people responsible are neither the Ministry of Education officials nor the minister. The one who gave the reckless order is the president himself," and said, "The public is dumbfounded by a shameless president who blames subordinates after giving orders and causing trouble."
