JCS: "North Korean Ballistic Missile Flies About 780km, Lands in East Sea"
The Joint Chiefs of Staff announced on the 15th, "From around 7:25 PM to 7:37 PM today, we detected two short-range ballistic missiles launched by North Korea from the Sunan area toward the East Sea."
They added, "North Korea's ballistic missiles each flew approximately 780 km before landing in the East Sea," and "the South Korean and U.S. intelligence authorities are comprehensively evaluating the detailed specifications and any additional provocations."
They further stated, "North Korea's ballistic missile launches are serious provocations that threaten peace and stability not only on the Korean Peninsula but also in the international community," and "we strongly condemn these actions as clear violations of United Nations Security Council resolutions and urge their immediate cessation."
